Carteret County Juvenile Justice is a division of the legal system at the North Carolina State, Carteret County, or local level that focuses on youthful offenders. The Juvenile Justice System incorporates a number of government agencies, including Carteret County Courts, law enforcement, corrections, and social services. A Carteret County WIC Office is a local branch of the Federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Carteret County WIC programs provide nutrition assistance for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, infants, and children.
